VSPT Wine Group releases its latest Sustainability Report
VSPT Wine Group has unveiled the seventh edition of its sustainability report according to GRI standards (Global Reporting Initiative). Its aim is to disclose and make transparent all management relating to sustainability for the wine group over the period: 2019-2020.
For the new version, the reported content was determined taking into account subjects of interest for stakeholders, clients, associates and union leaders. The Chilean social crisis and subsequent pandemic affecting much of the world were taken into consideration, with a focus on protecting people and ensuring operational continuity.
During the 2019-2020 period, the Declaration of Diversity and Inclusion (2019) was noteworthy, along with adherence to the IWCA (2019), the launch of the Ecodesign Policy (2020), and obtaining the Zero Waste Seal from the Ministry of the Environment for the Molina Plant (2020), among other things.
“This report has become an important measurement tool which enables us to evaluate our progress and establish new goals and objectives. It is important to carry out this task each year in order to get closer to our ambitious goals for forthcoming years, and to continue strengthening our leadership in sustainability”, says Bárbara Wolff, Chief of Corporate Affairs and Innovation at VSPT Wine Group.
