VSPT China Receives Award as “Best International Wine Company of 2023”
VSPT China, the Asian subsidiary of the VSPT Wine Group, was recently named the “Best International Wine Company of 2023” at the “Golden Prestige Awards,” which celebrate excellence in the wine and spirits sector in China.
This recognition highlights the efforts undertaken by the VSPT office in China, which was inaugurated in May 2023 with the goal of solidifying the company’s presence in China—one of the world’s most important markets—and advancing its international expansion strategy.
The Golden Prestige Awards are renowned for their professionalism in acknowledging outstanding contributions to the wine and spirits industry in China, with a focus on aspects such as market expansion, product diversity, brand strength and media recognition.
The awards ceremony took place on 18 January in Shanghai and attracted over 200 attendees from the world of wine and spirits. Craig Aldous, the CEO of VSPT China, accepted the award on behalf of the company. At his speech he said: “It is humbling to be awarded for our professionalism within our first year of setting up our Company in China. This is a tremendous recognition of the quality of our people and the efforts they delivered to get our brands, relationships, and systems set up for success in the years ahead.”
This event brought together industry leaders and marked a significant milestone for the Chinese wine industry.
