VSPT Wine Group took an active role at Chengdu Wine Fair 2025, one of Asia’s leading industry events, with a focused agenda aimed at strengthening the positioning of its brands in the Chinese market and highlighting its premium winemaking offering.
Over the course of the three-day event (March 22–24), the group showcased part of its portfolio through its most iconic brands. As part of the fair’s official program, Sebastián Ríos, VSPT Chief Corporate Winemaking Officer, hosted an exclusive 1865 masterclass for 60 trade guests, highlighting the quality and evolution of the brand, which pays tribute to the founding year of Viña San Pedro.
Additionally, 1865 gained strong visibility with a two-week advertising display at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, building anticipation ahead of VSPT’s presence in the city.
On March 24, the official launch of 1865 Prelusion took place during a gala dinner hosted for clients and strategic partners. More than 100 guests attended the event, which featured a special collaboration: a traditional Su embroidery piece crafted by artist Lu Meihong, created exclusively for this new label. This artisanal technique, part of China’s cultural heritage, brought a unique artistic dimension to the unveiling.
Through this participation, VSPT reaffirms its commitment to excellence in one of the most strategic markets for the global wine industry.
