Kankana del Elqui
Kankana del Elqui is an elegant cool-climate Syrah cultivated on the banks of the River Elqui. It is crafted using a selection of grapes from the “Solar no.10” vineyard plot.
Strong coastal winds reach the vineyard directly from the ocean, uninterrupted by mountains, and blow between the east-west-oriented rows of vines, easily drying the humidity brought by the morning coastal fog known as camanchaca. These conditions also result in the vines being inclined towards the east.
