René Araneda es el Nuevo Presidente de Vinos de Chile
Santiago, April 15, 2011.- As news that makes us very proud, René Araneda, Executive Vice President of the San Pedro Tarapacá (VSPT)Group, became the new President of Vinos de Chile / Wines of Chile, organization that represents 95% of the vitivinicultural industry.
During the partner meeting that took place today, the wineries chose the representatives who will be part of the Board of Directors during the 2011-2013 period, which is now made up by Thomas Domeyko (Viña Concha y Toro), Silvio Rostango (Viña Santa Rita), René Araneda (San Pedro Tarapacá Group), Eduardo Chadwick (Viña Errázuriz), Andrés Turner (Viña Montes), José Yuraszeck (Viña Undurraga), Recaredo Ossa (Viña Veramonte), Mario Pablo Silva (Viña Casa Silva) and René Merino (Viña Tamaya and President of Vinos de Chile up to present date), all of the wineries were reelected with regard to the 2009-2011 period.
In a second stage, the Directors designated René Araneda as President of the Association with a wide majority. Additionally, the Board of Directors is now composed by Mario Pablo Silva, as Vice President, and Andrés Turner, as Treasurer.
