Andrea Ferreyra, Chief Winemaker at Finca La Celia, the first winery established in the Uco Valley, recently completed a successful roadshow in the UK, marking the official launch of this iconic Argentine brand in the British market. Her agenda included a masterclass aimed at press, opinion leaders, and buyers, as well as a full commercial tour.

The Finca La Celia Masterclass, led by Ferreyra and co-hosted by renowned Argentine sommelier Valeria Gamper, offered attendees a deep dive into the Uco Valley. The event featured a vertical tasting, allowing guests to explore the exceptional terroir of Finca La Celia through a curated selection of standout Malbec vintages.

As pioneers of Cabernet Franc in the Uco Valley as well, Andrea Ferreyra also presented a special selection of this emblematic variety, which has become one of the most distinctive expressions of Argentina’s winemaking identity. The masterclass provided a unique opportunity to discover the character and potential of Cabernet Franc, one of the winery’s key focuses.

The occasion celebrated the recent launch of La Celia Reserva range in the UK -featuring Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Rosé- which is now available at greatwine.co.uk

This event marks an important step in Finca La Celia’s international positioning, bringing the richness of Uco Valley viticulture and its exceptional wines closer to the London audience.
