For the third consecutive year Viña San Pedro’s GatoNegro brand came in 1st place for red wine sales and the second consective year for white, according to the 2014 report issued by Alko, the Finnish monopoly.
The official ranking by Alko is the only annual statistic that details the Top 20 wine sales. The report states that over the last year GatoNegro increased its white wine volume with its Sauvignon Blanc leading as the bestselling wine. For the reds, its Cabernet Sauvignon continued to reassert its leadership in volume coming second of the total list.
Furthermore, the wine ‒renowned for its popular, successful “Roof Top Parties”‒ also boasts a Chardonnay for the second year running in the Top 20, coming in 7th place for both 2013 and 2014.
GatoNegro has been the bestselling brand in terms of volume for several years in Finland, demonstrating once again its slogan “Adored Everywhere”, captivating customers around the world and especially in the land of a thousand lakes.
