The company has been acknowledged in the eighth edition of the C3 Ranking for Creativity and Innovation by Brinca and the Universidad del Desarrollo. On this occasion, it was within the “Social Innovation” category as a result of its collaborative project with the Buchahueico Mapuche community in the Purén area, to craft the Tayu 1865 wine.
The ranking gives awards and distinctions to companies which have developed capacities and results in innovation since 2013. This year, an award was given for the social innovation of the Tayu 1865 project. “This prize acknowledges companies that have co-designed innovations with communities and regions, generating shared value with a social benefit”.
The awards ceremony was held on November 9th in Santiago and was attended by companies which won prizes or were acknowledged in the ranking. Bárbara Wolff, Chief of Corporate Affairs and Innovation, received the award on behalf of VSPT: “Tayu, from our 1865 range, is an excellent example of the collaborative, associative and innovative spirit we promote at the organization. The incredible reception of this project in Chile and across the world, as well as its positive impact, drives us to continue making progress with the families, and to hopefully inspire others in the process”, said Wolff.
