VSPT Wine Group is recertified under the National Sustainability Code of Wines of Chile
VSPT Wine Group has renewed its certification under the National Sustainability Code, a voluntary, highly demanding standard promoted by Wines of Chile, which measures the incorporation of sustainable practices at wine companies in Chile.
Since its first version in 2013, VSPT has complied with the requirements for gaining the certification: “Certified Sustainable Wine of Chile” in its three scopes: Green, Orange and Red.
Each colour represents a different area: green covers vineyard management, orange relates to corporate and social aspects, and red corresponds to winery operations. In the recent certification process assessed by the external auditors, Ecocert Group, VSPT met the requirements in all areas.
This accreditation is valid until December 2027.
The certification process has been updated over time, becoming increasingly rigorous for applicants. This fifth version, considered a three-year cycle certification, ensuring the proper implementation and continuous updating of sustainable practices. Notably, there have been recent changes in the green and orange areas, which were strengthened to reflect an evolving and world-class sustainability standard.
