Outstanding scores for our wines in La Cav’s Tasting Table Guide 2021
Over 40 wines from VSPT were awarded scores of 90 points or more thanks to their incredible winemaking quality and consistency. The Sideral 2018 featured on this list with 98 points, and it was hailed as the Best Super Premium wine and the Best Red Blend. Meanwhile, the Cabo de Hornos Cabernet Sauvignon also scored 98 points and stood out as the 2nd Best Icon Wine at the table.
Also among the highest-scoring wines was the 2019 Tayu 1865 which received 97 points and won the Critic’s Prize, which praises the wine for its personality.
With regards to Viña Leyda, the Lot 5 Chardonnay 2019 was awarded 97 points, the Lot 4 Sauvignon Blanc 2020, 95 points, and the Leyda Single Vineyard Kadún Sauvignon Gris 2020, 94 points. The latter two also stood out with the Critic’s Prize, as outstanding wines.
