As part of the company’s new Circular Economy and Ecodesign Policy, it is today launching its website for conscious consumption in order to educate consumers, and is to set new goals for more sustainable packaging.
The page: enjoyconsciously.com features complete and easily accessible information with recycling instructions, as well as tips for conscious consumers, information about company brands, and commitments the wine group has made towards sustainability.
In addition, from today all the new brands will feature recycling instructions on their back labels so that by 2030, 100% of our products will have guides facilitating the recycling process for consumers. For the Chilean market, VSPT has also voluntarily signed up to the Ecolabel clean production agreement.
All of the above is part of the Circular and Economy and Ecodesign policy, which continues to strengthen VSPT’s leading position in recycling and sustainability within the industry. We will continue to challenge ourselves with important goals in each of the areas that comprise this policy: Recycle, Redesign and Reduce.
“This commitment to circular economy and sustainability is an uphill and not-always-easy path. It requires us to face more unfamiliar challenges and set new goals which enable us to reduce our environmental impact and prepare for higher and more stringent standards. We are very proud of our progress, and we believe in both our own capabilities and those of our suppliers”, says Bárbara Wolff, Chief of Corporate Affairs, Sustainability and Innovation.
