Excelentes resultados de VSPT Wine Group en Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2016

In the 23rd Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2016 that took place at the beginning of the month in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, VSPT Wine Group was awarded with ten Gold Medals and one Grand Gold Medal.

The wines were 1865 Single Vineyard Carménère 2013, 1865 Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2015, 1865 Limited Edition Blend 2012 and Epica Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 of Viña San Pedro. At the same time Gran Reserva Etiqueta Azul 2013, Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 and Gran Reserva Carménère 2014 from Viña Tarpacá.

Finally La Celia Heritage 2012, La Celia Pioneer Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 and Tamari AR Malbec 2013 also took the gold. The 2013 Tamarí Dos Mundos – crafted in collaboration with the renowned Portuguese winemaker, Luis Duarte – won Grand Gold Medal and was one of the three Argentine wines that were awarded with the European competition’s top prize.

Over 9.000 samples from 46 countries had been submitted for the competition, which were then tasted by a select panel of more than 300 specialists. Among those were sommeliers, buyers, importers, journalists and wine critics from different nations.

Throughout its history, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles has strived to be a benchmark for international wine competitions, eventually coming to be known as the “global tasting championship”.
