Andrea Ferreyra, the winemaker for La Celia -the pioneering winery of the Uco Valley- traveled to the USA to carry out various activities with important clients, importers and distributors from the country.
Her journey began in New York City, where the winemaker held exciting activities and tastings for existing buyers and clients, revealing the latest releases from the Argentinian wine brand.
Among stores where tastings were carried out were: Rouge and Blanc, J&G Wines & Liquors, and Rego Park Wines & Liquors. In addition, her latest visit to the market allowed her to once again train sales forces of the New York importer: Apollo Fine Wines & Spirits.
Furthermore, Andrea again had the opportunity to take part in the new version of the “Great Wines of the Andes” event, organized by the renowned US critic James Suckling, exhibiting two emblematic wines from the portfolio.
These wines were the La Celia Elite Malbec 2017, which received an impressive 91 point score in the latest report published by Suckling at the beginning of the year, and the La Celia Pioneer Malbec 2017, which stood out with 90 points in the same report.
To conclude the trip the expert went to Miami, Florida to carry out educational tastings for important clients of the brand, as well as attending exclusive and entertaining lunches.
Andrea’s visit to the market provided great visibility for La Celia’s wine portfolio. With over 125 years’ history, the brand has been strengthening its position in the USA since it was launched there in 2016.
